Full Project Description:
The 11.5km Townsville Ring Road Section 4 connects the existing Ring Road at Kalynda Chase with the northern suburbs of Townsville and was completed in December 2016. This section finalises the 22km Townsville Ring Road link, providing a freight bypass of Townsville and improving both safety and traffic efficiency.
Our portion of work involved the design, RPEQ engineer approvals, and construction supervision of absorptive noise barriers in accordance with DTMR MRTS15.1 – Noise Fences, along with associated civil and structural works.
The project was delivered within the required timeframe, with no safety or environmental concerns, and within budget, to the satisfaction of the client.
