Full Project Description:
Our team was awarded the subcontract for the supply and construction of the missing link in the raised watermain reticulation, including the following works:
- 150mm diameter mPVC Pipes Series 2 (1.2 km)
- 150mm DICL PN20
- Sluice valves
- Fire hydrants
- Thrust blocks
- Water connections to neighbouring residents
- Water main chlorination and pressure testing in accordance with requirements
- Footpath and driveway reinstatements
- Under-boring for road crossings
- RPEQ engineer as-built documentation and certification
- Commissioning and handover to Banana Shire Council
The project was delivered within the required timeframe, with no safety or environmental concerns, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.
